Still on the wings of the success of their documentary “American Factory”, the former US presidential couple is already working on another Netflix project.
Some US media report that Michelle and Barack Obama’s production company, Higher Ground, will produce a movie adaptation of the Pakistani writer Mohsin Hamid’s novel “Exit West”.
The venture also caught the attention of the streaming giant Netflix, which will co-produce with the “Avengers: Endgame” directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, who are working on the project since 2017.

The Russo Brothers acquired the rights to adapt the novel in August 2017, just five months after its release in the United States. At the time, it was announced that Morten Tyldum, best known for his work on the historical drama the Imitation Game, would be the director and the script would be written by Jessica Goldberg.
