It’s a myth that you are overweight from sweet foods, according to a French nutritionist.

The french nutritionist Pascal Gordon states that daily consumption of sweet foods cannot at any cost affect the construction of our body. Desserts are allowed, but there are a few rules you should follow.

If you do not overdo with the intake of sweet food, you will not have any changes in your weight.

“Sugar is essential for the body to function properly. If you stop consuming sugar, your brain will not function properly, your muscles will weaken, you will feel tired and you will experience frequent mood swings. It’s not a good idea to give up sweet food”, says Pascal.

If asked, he would not recommend rigorous diets to anyone.

“They have a short-term effect, so once you stop dieting and start eating normally, all the pounds will come back to you,” he says.

“The diet has to be varied. Sweet food is allowed, but it is best to consume it in the morning since that’s the period when it’s quickly digested. If you eat chocolate, it’s best to do it after a meal, but not at all to take it as a snack.”

Sugar is not an enemy of your body until you start exaggerating.
